Theodore 'Teddy' LePage

Died: March 20, 2012

U.S. VeteranTheodore “Teddy” R. LePage, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2012 at his residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Mary (Pozzi) Arcuri and step-son of the late Natale Arcuri.

Teddy was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. During the Korean War he served in the United States Army from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1954. Teddy was employed by the City of Niagara Falls and was the chief housing inspector at the time of his retirement in 1986 after twenty years of service. Teddy enjoyed traveling worldwide as well as throughout the United States by RV. He was an accomplished carpenter by trade and enjoyed home projects and building. Teddy also had a passion for animals especially his cats Fonzi and Mickey and his dogs Guido and Bruno.

Mr. LePage is survived by his wife Margaret “Peggy” (D’Agostino) LePage, two sons, Thomas (Diane) LePage of Youngstown, NY and Mark LePage, and was predeceased by one daughter Maryanne (Thomas of Kenmore, NY) Reigstad. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jack LePage, Janeanne LePage, Lucas Reigstad, Leif Reigstad, one step-son Joseph Paolini Jr. of Grand Island, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by one step-daughter Maria Paolini and one brother Rene (Janette of Texas) LePage, Jr.

Visitation will be on Thursday March 22nd from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Erie County SPCA, 205 Ensminger Rd. Tonawanda, NY 14150 or to Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish, Mt. Carmel Church 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
