Aaron J. Peters, 32, of Youngstown, NY, died unexpectedly on January 17, 2024 in Medina, NY, due to a tragic accident while doing work that he loved. Born in Lewiston, NY, Aaron was the son of Ronald B. (Toni Marie) Peters and Jennifer (Arthur) Ray (neé Miller).

Aaron was a man with many hobbies and an appreciation for many things. His love of nature and the outdoors was primary among them, and inspired him to pursue a career that allowed him to work outdoors.  He formerly worked as a landscaper for Stedman's Nursery in Newfane, NY.  Most recently, he was employed with New York State Parks as a member of the scaling and tree crew teams.  He loved hiking and fishing, and never missed a good bonfire.

Aaron loved animals, and had a special fondness for dogs and snakes. When he wasn't enjoying the great outdoors, Aaron enjoyed playing video games and Magic the Gathering, and had a wealth of knowledge of Viking and Norse Mythology. He also enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams - the Green Bay Packers, the Buffalo Bills, and the Buffalo Bandits. Aaron appreciated a good laugh with friends and family, and especially enjoyed stand-up comedy; Carlin, Stanhope, Burr, and Jennings were among his favorites.

One of the biggest impacts on his life was his love of music. A talented guitarist and vocalist, Aaron loved metal music and played with two bands -- Urdarbrunnr and G.A.W.D. Although he was young, Aaron packed a lot into his 32 years and will be remembered for many qualities including his amazing sense of humor, his zest for life, and his love of family.

In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his daughter, Adeline Peters; his girlfriend, Katie Schank; his siblings Missy Peters, Ryan Peters, and Ryan Schumacher; his 'brother' and lifelong bandmate Mike "Dreads" Armstrong; as well as his niece and nephew and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 4 - 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. Flowers are graciously declined.
