Adeline 'Adele' M. (Brady) Zacher, 77, of Wheatfield, NY passed away on Thursday November 12, 2009 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Salem, NY she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Matilda (LaFleur) Brady.

Adele was raised and educated in the Glens Falls, NY area, and moved to the Niagara Falls area in the late 1950's. Adeline was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Wheatfield, NY, and the Veterans of Foreign War (V.F.W.) Post 54 Ladies Auxiliary, where she had served as past president. In her leisure time she enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing handheld electronic games. Adele was also an avid reader, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Zacher was predeceased by her husband Richard Zacher II. She is survived by her children, Glenn (Sharon) Durham of Niagara Falls, NY; Patricia (Mark) Hill of Griffin, GA; Richard (Sarah) Zacher III, and Brian (Debbie) Zacher both of Niagara Falls, NY; and was predeceased by five children, Denise Ann Durham, Gary Alfred Durham, Thomas Zacher, Gayle Stempe and Deborah Pietraszewski. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one brother Roy Brady of Glens Falls, NY; one sister Loretta (Gerald) King of Arizona and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Adele was also predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call on Sunday November 15th from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS NY where services will follow at 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 331 Alberta Drive, Amherst NY 14226.
