Agatha "Aggie" M. Lucatra, 90, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16th, 2016 at Northgate Manor. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Frances (Pingatore) DeMiglio.

Agatha moved to Ft. Edward, NY as a child with her family, where she was raised and educated. She later returned to Niagara Falls and married Michael A. Lucatra on September 16, 1950 at the former Our Lady of Rosary Church. Mr. Lucatra predeceased her on May 9, 2012 after 62 memorable years together. Agatha was employed at Nabisco Shredded Wheat for over 43 years until her retirement in 1986. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, baking and tending to her garden, but above all she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Agatha is survived by her siblings Loretta (late Joseph) Downie, Anthony (Antoinette) DeMiglio, Sarah Gloria DeMiglio, Ann (John) Barry, Mary Ann (late Stephen) Ventry; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18th from 3 – 6 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:15 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. John De LaSalle Church, 8469 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation or Niagara Hospice.
