Aida Dawson, 93, of Grand Island, NY passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Bretz, WV she was the daughter of the late Cirillo "Jerry" and Rosalia (Sannicolo) Maule.

Aida came to the Niagara Falls area at an early age with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. She was employed at Kimberly Cark Corp., Bell Aerospace and the Carborundum Co. Globar Division all in Niagara Falls, NY. She then worked in the credit and collections department at Moore Business Forms, also in Niagara Falls, and retired after twenty five years of service. Aida was a member of the Moore Retirees, the Moore Girls and St. Stephen's Church on Grand Island as well as their Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed traveling the United States from coast to coast, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Aida is survived by one daughter Patricia (Frank) Fabin of Grand Island, NY; two granddaughters Jessica (Chris) Holland of Rochester, NY and Kelly (Joe) Fleckenstein of Ransomville, NY; three great grandchildren, one great great grandson, two sisters Mollie (late Nick) Czyhura and Eleanor (late Joseph) Wisneski both of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and wonderful friends. She was predeceased by one sister Lena (late Mario "Bo") Campana and one brother Wilbert "Willie" (Dolores of Niagara Falls, NY) Maule, and one nephew. Aida's family would like thank the Grand Island Fire Company for their recent kind and gentle service.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday November 17th at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen R.C. Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY with Rev. Paul Nogaro, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
