Albert S. Punturo, 93 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on November 25, 2016. Born in Buffalo, NY he was the son of the late Biagio and Carmella (Alesso) Punturo.

Albert attended schools in Buffalo, and during World War II served in the US Army Air Corps from January 9, 1943 until his honorable discharge on December 10, 1945.
Albert was employed as an AA Assembler at the Bell Aircraft /Bell Aerospace Plant in Wheatfield, NY and retired in 1985 after 34 years of service. During the early 1970's he also owned and operated Vezos Importing/Deli on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, NY.

Albert is survived by his daughter Lisa (Anthony) DeMunda of Lewiston, granddaughter Danielle (Paul) Kudela; two sisters Florine (Frank) Scibetta of Tonawanda, and Jean (late Larry) Scaglione of Wheatfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two Grandsons, Daniel and Andrew DeMunda and his former wife Mary J. (Dimino) Punturo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:30 am in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph's Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation or Niagara Hospice. Arrangements by M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL.
