Alberto F. Fontanarosa, 91 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on January 22, 2018 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence.  Born June 5, 1926 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Pietro and Marietta Fontanarosa.  Alberto was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls.  He attended local schools and served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Mr. Fontanarosa is survived by one brother, Guido (Antoinette) Fontanarosa of Lewiston, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Ennio (Nevia) Fontanarosa, Mary (Sam) Gullo, Ella (Cosmo) Grizanti, Raffaela (Archangelo) Frisina, Emily (Joseph) Penque, Gino (Mary) Fontanarosa and twin brother Guido Fontanarosa.

There will be no prior visitation.  Private funeral services and burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by M.J.
