Alda (Iadicicco) Tantillo, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Wednesday October 21, 2015 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY, surrounded by her loving family. Born and educated in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Donato and Teresa (Palmeri) Iadicicco.

Alda married Joseph Tantillo on June 24, 1944 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Tantillo predeceased her on August 27, 1989. Alda was a long time active member of the former St. Charles Borromeo Church and their Altar Rosary Society in Niagara Falls, NY. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting, and knitting. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for their well-being.

Mrs. Tantillo is survived by two children, Sandra (Michael) Gallo of Wheatfield, NY and Teresa Tantillo of East Amherst, NY; three grandchildren, Steven (Jennifer) Gallo, Jeffrey (Melissa) Gallo, Rachel (Mark Hajnos) Baldassaro; two great-grandsons, Dominic and Dylan Gallo, as well as many nieces and nephews. Alda was predeceased by five sisters, Mary (late Fritz) Amato, Josephine Iadicicco, Santina (late Louie) Caruso, Elizabeth (late Frank) D'Angelo, and Donetta (late Anthony) Tantillo.

Visitation Friday, October 23rd from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, OSFS officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice House 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094 or to Alzheimer's Association, 2805 Wherle Drive, Suite 6 Williamsville, NY 14221.
