Alfonso R. Pacitti, of Niagara Falls NY, died on Tuesday April 26, 2011 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Born in Jamestown, NY he was the son of the late Joseph and Nancy (Trass) Pacitti.

Alfonso attended school in Jamestown, NY and graduated from Jamestown High School. He later attended Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, NY where he studied Criminal Justice. He served in the U.S. Navy and while in the Navy, he played football, baseball and boxing. Alfonso moved to Niagara Falls, NY at an early age where he lived until the present time. He was employed by the City of Niagara Falls and retired after twenty one years of service. Alfonso enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Alfonso is survived by his wife Clarice (Brandon) Pacitti, four daughters Carla Pacitti of Niagara Falls, NY; Alicia Rung, Barbara (David) Padgett both of Pennsylvania and Laura Walker of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren Colisa, Kaylee and Kamryn, one brother Sam Pacitti of Jamestown, NY; several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday April 30th from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240.
