Alfred M. Scrivani, 76 of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Saturday March 8, 2014. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Sardella) Scrivani. Alfred was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. He attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Al served in the Air National Guard and later earned his certification as an X Ray Technician. Alfred was employed by the State of New York for thirty seven years and worked as Corrections Officer at Albion Correctional Facility for twenty one years. Alfred was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Niagara Sportsman Club. Al also enjoyed vacationing especially to Walt Disney World. Above all, Alfred will be remembered as a devoted family man. Mr. Scrivani is survived by his wife Vicky L. (Buck) Scrivani, daughter, Sharon Williams of Niagara Falls, NY, two grandsons, Matthew and Andrew, one brother, Dr. Joseph (Arlene) Scrivani of Fayetteville, NY, one sister Virginia (Paul) Reitmulder of Wheatfield, NY as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Gene (Frances of Wheatfield, NY) Scrivani, James (Sherry of California) Scrivani and one sister Loretta (late Michael) Scozzafava. Visitation will be held on Saturday March 15th from 1 -4 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Mann officiating. Entombment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family.
