Amedeo 'Dell' Bertozzi, 48, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Friday September 4, 2015 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Enrico and Maria (Cancherini) Bertozzi.
Dell, as he was known to family and friends, attended Lewiston Porter High School and worked as a truck driver for the City of Niagara Falls, NY, Modern Disposal Service in Lewiston, NY and later at Ventry's Concrete Company in Niagara Falls, as well as various out of state concrete companies. He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.
Dell is survived by three children, Jessica Bertozzi, Dominick J. Bertozzi, and Vincent J. Bertozzi , all of Niagara Falls, NY; four siblings, Ann (Guy) Fortunate of Grand Island, NY, Liliana (Charles) Borzillieri of Lewiston, NY, Mario (Sandy) Bertozzi of Niagara Falls, NY, and Fabiola Bertozzi of Tuscany, Italy; his fiancé Lori Fitzgerald of Niagara Falls, his aunts and uncles, Evelyn (Gino) Bertozzi, and Ann (Richard) Baker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Rd Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 9th at 10:00 AM at St. John De LaSalle Church, 8477 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Slawomir Siok, SAC. , officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
