Andrew W. Vanstone, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Northgate Manor in North Tonawanda, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, he was the son of the late Jack and Doris (Lister) Vanstone.

Andrew attended local schools in Niagara Falls, Ontario and later moved to Quincy, FL in September of 1959 with his family. He was employed at the former Centel, now Sprint Telephone Company in Tallahassee, FL as a cable splicer until his retirement in 1999. In 2001, Andrew moved to Niagara Falls, NY and married Patricia Vanstone on February 2, 2003 in Calvary, GA. Andrew was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed to sing and was a former member of the Northwoods Baptist Church choir.

In addition to his loving wife, Patricia, Mr. Vanstone is survived by his three daughters Laurie (Stoney) Hall of Quincy, FL, Beth (Wiley) Meggs and Andi (Andrew) Saucier both of Tallahassee, FL; two step-sons Christopher Moody of Rochester, NY and Robert (Valerie) Moody of Seminole, FL; six grandchildren Bethany, Emily, Amelia and Chase Hall, Andersen and Ellie Meggs, as well as one brother John (Doris) Vanstone. Andrew is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister Connie (late Robert) Stewart.

There will be no prior visitation. Private services and interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Quincy, Florida at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
