Angela A. Ligammari, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY has passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Monday April 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born on January 2, 1925 in Ofena, Abruzzi, Italy she was the daughter of the late Berlino and Vittoria (Pacione) Delfino.

Angela married the "love of her life" Lewis A. Ligammari Sr. on June 1, 1946 in St. Joseph Church, Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Ligammari predeceased her on November 14, 1998. Every day was full of love spending time with her husband, Lew, and their three children. When the grandchildren and great grandchildren were born, she was so dedicated to making them the best they could be. She looked forward to the summer months to enjoy her swimming pool and visiting with her family and friends. She loved to bowl in mixed and women's leagues. Angela was always the life of the party and later in life her favorite pastime was Casino gambling.

Angela was employed for many years as a chamber maid at the Ramada Inn in Niagara Falls. She was a dedicated employee, entrusted with celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Yvonne DeCarlo, Rich Little and many more. She was later employed at Invenex Pharmaceuticals on Grand Island for more than twelve years, retiring in 1987.

Angela is survived by three children Alfred (Diana) Ligammari, Mary Ann Longval (Michael) and Lewis Jr. (Angel) Ligammari, a beloved brother Anthony Delfino of Palm Bay, FL; four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and one great great grandson Morgan James of Germany. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many "forever friends".

Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a "Celebration of Life" service on Monday April 15th at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
