Angela 'Angie' (Cotugno) Panattoni, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Saturday July 7, 2012 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Grace (DiPrima) Cotugno.

Angie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On July 6, 1946 she married Leo J. Panattoni at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Panattoni predeceased her on July 2, 1997. Angie was employed as a clerk at the former Lincoln's Department Store in Niagara Falls, NY and later at the former Jenss Department Store at Mil Pine Plaza in Niagara Falls and the Summit Park Mall in Wheatfield, NY.

Angie is survived by two daughters Patricia 'Trish' (Wayne) Powless of Florida and Kathryn 'Kathi' McNally of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren Debra (Todd) Petrie, Dawn (Joe) Shanley and Wayne (Amy) Powless, eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, one sister Julia (late John) DeFrancesco of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of Dennis (Leslie) Panattoni, Lena Panattoni both of Niagara Falls, NY; Dolly (John) Mariani and Bonnie (late Peter) Panattoni both of California. She was predeceased by one sister Teresa (late Christopher) Etiopio and one sister-in-law Arlene Mena.

Mrs. Panattoni's family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Schoellkopf Health Care Center for the very special care given to Angie.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY concluding with a brief prayer service at 7 p.m. Private entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls NY.
