Angela (Fasanelli) Rasmussen, 80, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Thursday January 7, 2010 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Domenick and Santina (Muscarella) Fasanelli.

Angela was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On August 20, 1955 she married Roger C. Rasmussen at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niagara Falls, NY. She briefly worked at the former Warder Paper Box Factory and later Nabisco Shredded Wheat Co. both in Niagara Falls, NY. For many years, Angela sold Avon products and was a team leader for them. She was also a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and in her leisure time enjoyed going to the casino.

In addition to her husband of fifty four years, Angela is survived by her two daughters, Rosemarie (Peter) Ross of Youngstown, NY and Roseanne (Fabie) Silva of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren, Lisa Ross, Ryan Ross and Michael Silva and several cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother Michael (late Margaret) Fasanelli and one sister Rosalie Fasanelli.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Monday January 11th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 1023 Swann Road, Lewiston, NY 14092.
