Angelina (Mariano) Nudo, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, died Monday, February 13, 2012 at Baybrooke Village Care and Rehabilitation Center, McKinney, Texas after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Salvatore and Saveria (Paonessa) Mariano. On September 2, 1939, Angelina married her husband, of 63 years, Louis W. "Jerry" Nudo at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY.

Mrs. Nudo attended Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, NY where she lived until moving to Plano, TX in December of 2002 where she enjoyed spending time with family and her grandchildren. She frequently traveled to California and New York visiting her family. Angelina was a member of the Order of Italian Sons and Daughters of America, Harris Squares, Square Dancers of Tonawanda. She was a wonderful homemaker, avid baker and cook. In her leisure time she loved watching Lifetime and classic movies.

Angelina is survived by three daughters, Geraldine (Frederick) VanBrocklin of Niagara Falls, NY, Annetta (Paul) Molfese of Lake Balboa, CA, and Sarah (Joseph) DeMartino of Plano, TX; eleven loving grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Nudo was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Nudo on December 10, 2002; her son, Eugene Nudo; her brothers late Louis (late Patricia) Mariano, late Joseph Mariano, late Thomas (late Rose) Mariano and Anthony (Betty of Las Vegas, NV) Mariano and her sisters late Catherine (late Rocco) Migliazzo and late Mary (late Joseph) Critelli.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, February 17th from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday February 18th at 10 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Niagara Falls, NY.
