Angeline 'Angie'(Mastropolo) DeLoreto, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Monday December 19, 2011 peacefully at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Barnesboro, PA she was the daughter of the late Michele and Rosina 'Rose' (D'Amico) Mastropolo.
Angie came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with her family. She attended local schools including the former Trott Vocational High School. Before her marriage, Angie was employed at the Kimberly Clark Corporation. On October 16, 1948 she married Joseph A. DeLoreto, Sr. at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. She and her husband owned and operated the former Dell's Inn Tavern in Niagara Falls. Mr. DeLoreto predeceased her on February 20, 1984. Angie loved watching old classic movies, listening to big band music and going to the casino. But most of all, she loved having gatherings and spending time with her family.
Mrs. DeLoreto is survived by three sons Peter J. DeLoreto (Linda Scott) of Niagara Falls, NY; Michael (Mary) DeLoreto of Bristol, PA and Joseph A. (Margaret) DeLoreto, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren Christine (David) Martino, Michael (Lisa) DeLoreto, Joseph (Julie) DeLoreto and Robert DeLoreto, five great grandchildren Madison and Joseph Martino, Peter and Thomas DeLoreto and Blake DeLoreto and one brother Anthony 'Turk' (Marise) Mastropoll of Winthrop, MA. She was predeceased by two sisters Christine (late Alfred) Frosolone, Ida (late Dominick Civisca) (late Joseph) Scibilia and one brother Nick (Harriet of Niagara Falls, NY) Mastropoll. Survivors also include sisters-in-laws Betty Mastropoll of Medina, NY and Violet DeLoreto of Niagara Falls, NY as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday December 27th at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
