Angeline C. (Ruggiero) Penale, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY went to her eternal rest on Saturday August 5, 2017 in Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility. She was born to Frank and Mary (Rufo) Ruggiero on September 16, 1922. On June 7, 1947 she married Dominic L. Penale in St. Joseph's Church.

Angie attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed at Bell Aircraft with her Mother and later at Moore Business Forms.

She worked in various grocery stores and later along with her husband Dominic owned their own for a short time. After her marriage she decided to go to Doyle Beauty School and became a hairdresser working in her home for 14 years, and later taught cosmetology for 10 years at Niagara Hairstyling and Beauty School on Main Street.

Angeline was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church. After retiring she joined many organizations including the, Thursday Afternoon Rosary Group, The Greedy Club, The Madonna Perpetuo Soccorso Society of St. Joseph's Church, Our Lady of Fatima Shrine and the Cristoforo Colombo Society. These groups were an important part of her life because she enjoyed spending time with her friends.

In addition to her husband of 70 years, she is survived by sons, Dominic L. Penale Jr. and Thomas (Kathy) Penale, grandchildren, Mary Alice (Brian) O'Donnell, Margaret Rose (Chris) Zagotti, Thomas, Jr. (Molly) Penale, Stephen (Ally) Penale, David (Lindsay) Penale, loving six great grandchildren Liam and Fiona O'Donnell, Enzo Zagotti, Mya, Lou and Nicholas Penale and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant son John Penale and siblings Joseph (Lucy) Ruggiero, Angelo (late Minnie) Ruggiero and late Mary (late Pat) Bonoccorso.

Mrs. Penale's family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff at Our Lady of Peace for their compassion and care.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS,NY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 8th, at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY.
