Angeline B. Recchione passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (Sagliano) Lombardo.

A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, Angeline graduated from Niagara Falls High School and worked at Carborundum Corporation. On April 26, 1947, she married James Recchione, who later passed away in 2004 after 57 memorable years together.

Mrs. Recchione enjoyed to sew, was an excellent cook and avid fan of the New York Yankees. She took great pride in the fact she was able to live on her own and maintain her home up until her passing. Above all, she adored her family and especially enjoyed spending time with them.

Mrs. Recchione is survived by two children, Robert (Kathy) Recchione and David (Kathy) Recchione; her grandchildren, Kristy Fiutko, Michael (Christine Matsulvage) Recchione, Jonathan (Ashley) Recchione and Melody (Brenden Mullen) Recchione; her great-grandchildren, Brianna Fiutko, Sonny Michael Recchione and Maxximus Recchione. She was also the sister of three and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22 at 7:00 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment will be held privately in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
