Angeline (Lorenti) Smith, 85, of the Town of Niagara, died on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Pasquale Lorenti and Theresa (Poletti) Granieri. Angeline was predeceased by her husband Francis L. Smith on October 6, 1999.

Angeline was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools including the former St. Mary of the Cataract School and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed as a banquet waitress at the former Schrafft's Hotel in Niagara Falls, NY for fifteen years. She also worked at the Hilton Hotel and the Niagara Falls Convention Center both in Niagara Falls. Angeline loved animals and one of her favorite pastimes was going to the Casino.

Angeline is survived by five children Paulette (Bruno) Bartolomei of Lewiston, NY; Patricia (James) Armstrong, James (Karen) Smith both of Wheatfield, NY; Joanna Leone of Niagara Falls, NY and Frank (Stephanie) Smith of the Town of Niagara; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one brother Roy (Maryanne) Corieri of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one son Michael Smith in 1992, one grandson Anthony Charles Leone, III in 1998, one brother Emil (Olive of Niagara Falls, NY) Lorenti and one sister Sheila Serianni.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday March 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Michael Burzynski, Ph.
