Angelo "Andy" Ryan, 89 went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2016. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Frank Ryan and Catherine (Cordorna) Ryan Rocco and Stepson of the late Gennaro Rocco.

Andy as he was known to family and friends, was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1945 until his honorable discharge in 1946. After his discharge from the Army Andy became employed at Broda Machine Shop for 11 years as an operator and later with the Niagara Falls Board of Education in the maintenance department for 30 years and retired in 1989.

Mr. Ryan was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church, Moose Lodge and the Embassy Club all in Niagara Falls, NY. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening. Andy always looked forward to his daily walks to Mike's Marketside Restaurant where he was treated like family.

Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife of 63 years Grace T. (Wood) Ryan, three children, Frank C. (Diane) Ryan, Lewiston, NY, Andrew R. (Chris) Ryan, The Villages, FL. And Susan A. (Victor) Badorian, Niagara Falls, NY. Survivors also include four grandchildren Melissa (Matt), Jessica (Justin), Eric and Taylor, one great granddaughter Maya and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
