Angelo S. Tumeo, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the dear son of the late Salvatore and Rosa (Zarbo) Tumeo.

Angelo was raised in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. On December 3, 1955, he married Theresa (Felicetti) Tumeo at the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Niagara Falls. In the early 1940's he began working at Bell Aircraft and later was employed at Niagara Falls City Hall as a city planner until his retirement in 1984, after 38 years.

Mr. Tumeo enjoyed flying model airplanes and was a longtime member of the Niagara Sunday Fliers R.C. Airplane Club, as well as the Boy's Club in Niagara Falls. Angelo also enjoyed collecting stamps and train sets.

In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, Mr. Tumeo is survived by three children, Patricia Peck of Niagara Falls, NY, Beverly (Norman "Skip") Forney of Lewiston, NY, Elaine (Jim) Mangino of Florida and was predeceased by one daughter Mary Jane Tharp. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Angelo was predeceased by one sister, Jenny (late Raymond) Antonucci.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 21st at 12 Noon in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 North Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
