Anita Marie (Quaglia) Testa, age 66, of the Town of Lewiston, NY was called peacefully to her heavenly home on January 7, 2015 with her family by her side at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Phyllis (Monaco) Bucci of Wheatfield, NY and the late Michael Quaglia.

Anita was a 1966 graduate of LaSalle Senior High School. She was united in marriage to Anthony J. Testa. in 1968. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Anita spent her time caring for her family and friends. She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Vincent De Paul Parish, Prince of Peace site in Niagara Falls. She faithfully attended mass and Eucharistic adoration. She prayed daily with her husband the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, always focusing on others in her thoughts and prayers. Every Monday, Anita attended Mass and Novena at St. Mary of the Cataract Church in Niagara Falls, and went on many pilgrimages to St. Anne's in Quebec and Our Lady of the Cape in Montreal. Anita was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Lewiston II Fire Hall, and longtime volunteer at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She enjoyed working out and socializing with friends at Summit Fitness Center five days a week. In her younger years, she worked at Tops Super Market and Lakeside Hospital.
Anita loved to travel with her husband Anthony, and visited almost all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii. They took numerous cruises seeing all of the Caribbean Islands, as well as regions of Mexico and South America. For the past twenty years, she looked forward to their annual trip to Lake George, NY. Anita's most memorable vacation was touring and visiting family members in Italy.
In addition to her beloved husband and mother, Anita is survived by two children, Colette A. (Henry) Graca of Wilson, NY and Anthony J. (Theresa) Testa Jr. of High Point, NC; her loving grandchildren, Jacob A. Graca, Gabrielle N. Graca, Anthony J. Testa, III, Vincent T. Testa, Gianna V. Testa and Kyle C. Haseley; a brother, Michael S. (Dianne) Quaglia of Sacramento, CA and a sister, Carolyn R. (John) Johnson of the Town of Niagara, NY; a brother-in-law, James S. (Denise) Testa of the Town of Tonawanda, NY and a sister-in-law, Loretta A. (Glenn) Gravestock of St. Catherine's, ON; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 -7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Monday, January 12th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 North Military Road Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Andrew Lauricella officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Parish, 1055 North Military Road Niagara Falls, NY 14304 or a charity of one's choice.
