Ann Marie 'Annie' Ashby, 53, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 8, 2016. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Gerard and Jill (Sawyer) Ashby of Niagara Falls.

Ann Marie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. She worked for various local collection agencies, as well as a home health care aide and at Heritage Manor in Ransomville. Ann Marie had a love for music and attending live music concerts. She also had a passion for animals especially her pet cats. In her leisure time she enjoyed collecting rocks and making bead jewelry. Above all, Ann Marie will be remembered for her kind soul and love for everyone she encountered.

In addition to her parents, Ann Marie is survived by her daughter, Jessica Ashby of Niagara Falls, grandchildren, Jayson and Jayden Bosley, her fiance Jack Chapek, her sister, Lucy (Bruce) Andrews of Lewiston, brother, David (Miranda) Ashby of Niagara Falls, two nieces, three nephews and many loving cousins throughout Montreal, Canada.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 14th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church 259 4th Street Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
