Obituary

On February 21st, 2016 the world lost one of its strongest, most amazing and wonderful, loving souls "Auntie" Anne Baker. She didn't go down without a fight. After enduring two hip surgeries, a knee surgery, a broken neck, the heartbreak from the loss of her first husband, Donnie Baker, and her only son Steven, as well as surviving cancer 3 times, we all thought she would battle through and overcome her 4th attack of cancer like the warrior she was.

Anna will be remembered for being the most loving, thoughtful, genuine, caring and generous person we know. And also for having the most contagious laugh that could light up the room. She was a social butterfly and friend to all.

Her spirit lives on through her beloved sister Violet Taylor, her brother John Widema, her nephew and niece, Robert and Tasha Taylor, dear friends Vernita Vlaslow, Antoinette, Marcia Baker Miles, Don Smith, Grandma Jackie, Debbie, Shari, Gail, Paula, Denise, Tim, Harry and her favorite ham-loving kit cat, Mister. Her family & friends find comfort knowing she's cruising around heaven in her corvette or Harley with Donnie, Steven and Scooby, stopping every minute to say hello and share a laugh with old friends & relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 3rd from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. Interment at the convenience of the family will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
