Ann Colucci, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 1, 1928 in Sulmona, Italy, the daughter of the late Francesco and Vincenza (Balassone) Colucci.

Ann came to the United States as a very young child with her parents and brother Ettore. She grew up in Niagara Falls and attended local schools including Kelly Business Institute. She was employed by Occidental Chemical Corp. for twenty five years. During her distinguished career, she was a pioneer for women in the workplace and rose to the corporate position of Director of Risk Management for worldwide operations. She retired in 1988. She was a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and The American Management Association (AMA). Prior to her employment with OxyChem, Ann worked for the City of Niagara Falls, NY in the City Clerk's Office.

Ann's many interests included traveling, a love of music, attending concerts and plays, photography, knitting, card games and creating floral designs. She was an excellent cook, loved to entertain and was happiest when her home was filled with loved ones. She was a wonderful role model for her many nieces and nephews, who adored her. All who knew Ann were touched by her generosity and genuinely caring manner.

Left to cherish Ann's memory are her sister Elena Colucci and sister-in-law Kay Colucci both of Niagara Falls, NY. She was predeceased by her brother Ettore (late Gertrude) Colucci, a sister Fulvia (late Charles) Passanese and brother Alfred (Kay) Colucci. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews Vinnie Passanese, Charles Jr. (late Rebecca) Passanese, Paula (Kevin) O'Keefe, Linda (Edward) Garcia, Nancy Colucci, Diane (Jeff) Harold, Paul (Laurie) Colucci, Sandra Colucci, Patricia (Todd) Phillips, Christine (Wade) Hart, Kathryn (Vincent) Castellani, Donna (Michael) Viscosi; twenty two great nieces and nephews, fourteen great great nieces and nephews and several cousins.

The Colucci family would like to extend their gratitude to Ann's extraordinary team of caregivers. Their excellent care and compassion will always be remembered.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15th from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 16th at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Church, 3840 Macklem Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
