Ann Marie DiFranco, 56, of Lewiston, NY died on Thursday May 23, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of Michael J. and Theresa M. (Porebska) DiFranco.


Ann Marie attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1974 and later attended Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, NY. She was employed as a clerk by Niagara County Department of Social Services in Niagara Falls and retired in 2012 after 20 years of service. Ann Marie centered her life around her family, especially her parents and was blessed to have a good and supportive group of friends. Ann Marie also enjoyed the company of her three cats, Goldie, Socks and Mindy.


In addition to her parents, Ann Marie is survived by her sister Barbara (Christopher) Blendowski of North Tonawanda, NY; one nephew Andrew P. Blendowski, one niece Katie N. Blendowski, her aunts and uncle Sally Renzi, Marie Porebska and Jack DiFranco and several cousins. She was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.


Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 – 8 pm at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 29th at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
