Ann D. (Deramo) Gismondi, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Thursday May 19, 2011 at Elderwood Health Care at Crestwood in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Gaetana (DiBacco) Deramo.

Ann was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On July 14, 1937 she married Dominic C. Gismondi in Lewiston, NY. Mr. Gismondi predeceased her on October 18, 1994. Ann's life was centered on her family, and she especially enjoyed cooking and baking for them.

Mrs. Gismondi is survived by three children, Robert Gismondi of Reseda, CA; Gerauld "Gerry" (Rebecca) Gismondi of Marysville, OH and Elizabeth (Thomas) Pleuthner of Beaver Creek, OH; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Bessie (late John) Baccelli, Marie (late Harry) Salvan, Rosie (late Constantine) Onevelo and three brothers, Anthony (late Ruth) Deramo, Joseph Deramo and William Deramo.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday May 23rd at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
