Ann M. (Quarantello) Lotterio, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday, January 02, 2015, at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late George and Carmen (Chiampi) Quarantello.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On November 16, 1946 she married Joseph J. Lotterio at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Mr. Lotterio predeceased her on October 20, 2005. Ann was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter 17 and the Reunited Seniors which she also served as their president. In her leisure time, she enjoyed ceramics, reading and crocheting. But Ann's greatest pleasure was spending time with and taking care of her family.
Ann is survived by her two daughters, CarmenMarie (Michael) Dougherty and Jo-Ann (Anthony) Serrianni both of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren, Joseph (Christine) Dougherty of Wheatfield, NY and Victoria (Brian) Munroe of Las Vegas, NV; two great-grandchildren, Luke Joseph Munroe and Michael Joseph Dougherty, several step- grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, one sister, Phyllis Manaresi of Niagara Falls, NY; two brothers Joseph (Lorna) Quarantello of Lewiston, NY and Bill (Helen) Quarantello of Niagara Falls, NY as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother Gus (late Jean) Quarantello.
Visitation will be on Monday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday January 6th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
