Anna M. 'Anne' (Porreca) Biondi, 83 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2011 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Domenico Mariano and Mary Filomena Porreca.

Anne was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School and later Kelley Business Institute where she achieved high honors. Anne worked various jobs in the clerical field including Moore Business Forms, Buffalo General Hospitals Medical Records and Human Resource Departments, Roswell Park Cancer Institute's Head and Neck Department and Institutional and Review Board, the Department of Environmental Conservation and retired from the New York State Division of Parole.

Anne was very creative, and had a love for arts and crafts. She also enjoyed sewing, particularly Halloween costumes, gardening, music, singing and dancing. She was an avid reader, especially of history and celebrity biographies and old movie enthusiast. Above all, Anne devoted her life to her family, especially to caring for the needs of her parents, children, grandchildren and siblings.

Mrs. Biondi is survived by her two children, Jim (Linda) Biondi of Grand Island, NY, and Cheryl A. (Russell) Quarantello of Lewiston, NY, four grandchildren, Annina, Russell, Christian and William Quarantello, one sister Giovina (late Salvatore) Martini, one brother John (Estelle) Porreca both of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother William (Josephine of CA) Porreca.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday June 4th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
