Anna (Insalaco) Fahs, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday September 29, 2010 at N. F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Carmela (LoVullo) Insalaco.
Anna was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On November 22, 1951 she married Louis Fahs in Niagara Falls. She was employed by the Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls and retired in 1981 after forty two years of service. Anna was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Carborundum Social Club. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking and in her younger years she liked to travel.
In addition to her husband of fifty eight years, Anna is survived by one daughter Lynn (Charles) Siegfried of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters Mary (late Frank) Vitullo, Antoinette (late Michael) Patrick, Teresa (late Michael) Favet, Nellie (Ernest of Niagara Falls) Geschwender and one brother Sam (late Christine) Insalaco.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday October 4th at 11:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev.
