Anna Marie McDonald, 83, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Vincenzina 'Jennie' LaPorta.

Anna married John A. McDonald on May 9, 1950 and together they resided in Niagara Falls until moving to Lewiston in 1957. Mr. McDonald predeceased her on October 5, 1987, after 38 beautiful years of marriage. Anna was a member of the Lewiston Senior Center and the Eagles Club. She enjoyed dancing, sewing and attending outdoor concerts. Above all, Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Anna is survived by her five children Patricia (Robert) Wood, Diane Wendt, Elaine (Edward) Barbiero, John (Lenore) McDonald and Kathleen (Dennis White) Beltracchi; sixteen grandchildren David (Harmony Durham-Schwarz) Wood, Renée (Kimberly) Diamond, Stephen A. Clauss, Lindsay (Brandon Reil) McMichael, Russell (Deneen Bugyi) Barker, Jeffrey (Santina Fittante) Barker, Eric (Natalia) Barker, Danielle (Will) Turk, Kyle McDonald, Shannon McDonald, Shawn (Jennifer) Beltracchi, Anthony (Hailey Rollings) Beltracchi, Julie (Lonney) Krentz, Amy Rebadow, Crystal White, Kelly Farah and was predeceased by her two grandchildren Bryan Wood and Andrea Marie Barker. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, her fiancé Earl Stott; one brother Angelo (Joan) LaPorta. She was predeceased by two sisters Carmella (late William) Caprio, Louise (late Angelo) Incorvia and two brothers Joseph (Nancy DiNardo) LaPorta and Samuel (late Marilyn) LaPorta. She was sister-in-law of Mary Mullaney and Alvin (late Carol) McDonald, and survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday from 12 – 3 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
