Anna Marie Vanoni, 79, of Wheatfield, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Ann was born in Niagara Falls, NY and was the daughter of the late Carl V. and Mary N. (Bellina) Bruno.

Ann attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She worked as a clerk at the former Sample Shop and later as an accounting clerk at the former Occidental Chemical until the late 1970's, both in Niagara Falls, NY. On August 27, 1955 she married Louis A. Vanoni in St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Vanoni predeceased her on August 9, 2012. Ann was an avid bowler and also a member of the John Duke Seniors Travel Club in Niagara Falls, NY. Ann will be remembered for her phenomenal cooking skills, and sharing her talent by providing memorable meals throughout the year. Her beautiful holiday decorations and displays were always greatly anticipated by her relatives, neighbors and friends.

Ann is survived by two children, Renee (Michael) Monaco of Niagara Falls, NY and David (Jacqueline) Vanoni of Youngstown, NY; ten grandchildren Joey A. DiDomizio, Michael Monaco, Gina (Gregory) Santoro, Joanna (fiancé Gerald Cracknell) Monaco, Louis P. Vanoni, Vincent G. Vanoni, Daniella N. Vanoni, David A. (Jenna Haseley) Vanoni, Paul J. Vanoni, Lee Anna Vanoni; three great-grandchildren Nikolas Monaco, Liliana Santoro, and Vincent Santoro; her brother James (June) Bruno of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her sister-in-law Rose Marie Romano of Lewiston, NY; her aunt Jennie (Paul) Romano, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ann was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Bruno.

Visitation will be Friday 2 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will begin Saturday March 7th at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Rd. Niagara Falls, with Rev. Robert Hughson, officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
