Anna Watroba, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Wheatfield Commons. Born in Albion, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosalia (Mansu) Valenti.

Anna attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On August 2, 1947, she married her beloved husband, Bruno Watroba. Bruno passed away on April 20, 2012, after 65 memorable years together.

Anna enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and knitting beautiful Afghans and baby clothing. She was also an avid baker and enjoyed fishing with her husband.

Anna is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Susan (Douglas) Haut, Rose Ann Vittie, Patricia Siegfried, Vivian (Jesse) Fergel, John (Bill) Reele-Renaldi, Karen Valenti and Joseph Valenti; her great-nephew, Josh Vittie; her godson, Rick Gibbons; her goddaughter, Michele Ponzi-Kozar; her best friend, Carrie Gibbons, close friend, John Pfeffer and neighbors, Jeff and Lauri Rusk; as well as many beloved friends from the DeMunda, Fera and Viscomi families.

Anna was predeceased by her four siblings, Josephine (late 'Carl' Malcolm) Vittie, Florence (late John) Reele, Russell (late Eileen) Valenti, and Joseph Valenti; her niece, Mary Rose Fitzpatrick and her nephew, Russell Valenti Jr.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Wheatfield Commons, especially John Tomes and Christine O'Conner, for the outpour of love and care provided to Anna.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 22 from 10 – 11:15 AM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 11:15 AM, followed by Anna's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Wheatfield Commons, 3920 Forest Park Way, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
