Anna (Spina) Weatherby, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY surrounded by her family.  Anna was born on May 4 ^th , 1931 to the late John and Edith (Palumbo) Spina.

On August 23 ^rd , 1952, she married the love of her life, Donald J. Weatherby at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls.   Mr. Weatherby predeceased her on May 25, 1998. Anna worked at DuPont and Occidental Chemical before retiring.  She loved spending time with her family and cooking family dinners.   When her grandchildren were young, she loved having them over to spend the night.

Anna is survived by two devoted children, Sharon (Joe) Downie and John (Monica) Weatherby, six grandchildren, Patrick (Katie) Cleary, Jennifer, Nick & Julie Downie, Courtney McDonell (nee Weatherby) and Ryan McDonell, Jason Weatherby, and great grandson Austin Cleary.  In addition to her husband, Anna was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Cleary.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4 ^th from 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, 14304, concluding with funeral services at 7 P.M.  Private interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.  Visit www.mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
