Anne M. 'Antoinette' Colavecchia, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on September 23, 2022 at Elderwood at Wheatfield. Born in Grotte, Sicily, Italy she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Stefana (Arnone) Boscarino.

Anne came to the United States when she was 3 years old with her family.  Anne attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On September 20, 1952 she married Frank T. Colavecchia at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Colavecchia predeceased her on July 30, 2015.  Antoinette was employed as a secretary for Niagara University College of Nursing and also at the Niagara Falls Air Base with the 107 ^th Division.  She also worked in various local dress shops in Niagara Falls and was a skilled saleswoman.

Antoinette was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America Cataract Lodge 240 in Niagara Falls. She was also a longtime member and served as a Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, at St. Joseph Church, Wheatfield Towers and Sawyer Gardens. She was also a member of the Our Lady of Lebanon and Mt. Carmel Church Senior Societies.  Anne was an incredible baker and cook, and was well known for her Christmas cookies.  Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Lynda (Dan) Waller of Felton, CA; three grandchildren, Cara (Aaron) (Marra) Berger, Loren (Jessica) Judson and Katelyn Judson, four great-grandchildren, Sophie Berger, Charlotte Berger, Ally Judson, Avery Judson; her brother, Sam (Jeannette) Boscarino, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 62 years, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Carol (Carmen) Marra, her sister, Lillian (late Norman) Perriman, and her brothers, Anthony (late Carmella) Boscarino, Charles (late Carmen) Boscarino, and Chris (late Angie) Boscarino.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5 from 4 - 7 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Thursday at 11:15 AM followed by Anne's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
