Anne R. (LaCivita) Cheff, 94, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY until moving to the Chicago suburban area in 2007, passed away Friday June 17, 2011.
Anne worked as a buyer for over 20 years at the former Biers Department Store in Niagara Falls, NY. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sabbath F. Cheff in 1983.

Anne was the fond mother of Dr. Ronald (Arlene) Cheff of Hinsdale, IL; grandmother of Carrie (Jonathan) Kowalski, Joseph M. (Alexis) Cheff, and Alissa (Michael) Hennen; great-grandmother of Julia, Abby and Kate Kowalski, Aidan Cheff and Avery Hennen. She is also survived by one sister and three brothers: Edith (late James) Serrio, Ernest LaCivita, Louis (Gladys) LaCivita all of Niagara Falls, NY and Al (Bee) LaCivita of Lewiston, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Celia (late Peter J. Sr.) Barto.

Visitation will be Saturday June 25th from 9:30 – 11:15 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where prayers will be held at 11:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th St. and Independence Ave., Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
