Anne (Leone) Montani, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday November 30, 2012 at her residence, while under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Born in Yorkville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Achille and Angelina (Falbo) Leone.

On April 27, 1948 she married Augustino "Augie" Montani in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and together they relocated to Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Montani predeceased her on October 2, 2006. Anne enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and tatting. Most importantly, she was very family oriented and enjoyed taking care of her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered for being an excellent cook. Anne was also an avid bingo player, enjoyed bowling, and following horse racing.

Mrs. Montani is survived by three children, Eleanor (Ronald) McNerney, Anthony Montani, both of Niagara Falls, NY, and Lisa (John) Ognibene of Town ofNiagara; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great- granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a one grandchild, one great-grandchild, four brothers and sisters Rose (late Frank) Colosimo, Antonette (late James) Pascuzzi, Mary (late Joseph) Zaccarella, Josephine (late James) Maraldo, James (late Elizabeth) Leone, Joseph (late Mary) Leone, Dominic (late Ann) Leone, and Frank (late Madeline) Leone.

Visitation will be Monday 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday December 4th at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
