Obituary
Anne V. (Scutere) Pino, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Northgate Manor in Wheatfield NY surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Madeline (DiFranco) Scutere.
Anne was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. Anne worked as an aid for the Niagara Falls Board of Education, and as a foster grandparent for HANCI (Health Association of Niagara County Inc). She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niagara Falls. Anne was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking. Above all, Anne enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Anne was predeceased by her husband Frank C. Pino on June 12, 1988. She is survived by her loving children; Dominic (Darlene) Pino of the Town of Niagara, NY, Jean (Jon) Roth of Grand Island, NY, Joan (late John) Dougherty of Lewiston, NY, Salvatore (Rita) Pino of the Town of Niagara, NY and Maria Jurowicz of Akron, NY, she was the cherished grandmother of; Denise, Janine, Chrissy, Jeffrey, Julie, John, Jennifer, Janelle, Joseph, Nicholas, Steven, Laura, Michael and Melissa. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, one sister Rose (late Ernest) Constantino of Amherst, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anne was also predeceased by one brother Joseph (late Jennie) Scutere and one sister Josephine (late Frank) Bongiovanni.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
