Anne M. Sbarbati, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 12, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephina Mary (Anselmo) Scalzo.

Anne was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. She loved entertaining - her door was always open, and especially enjoyed spending summers with family and friends by her pool. Anne enjoyed cooking, and was an excellent cook. In addition, she loved playing cards, especially poker, and was a longtime member of 2 Canasta clubs, one for 25 years and another for 20 years. Although she did not work outside of the home, Anne's main occupation was shopping, and she was very good at it! She will be remembered for her bubbly, laughing personality, in spite of all of the hardship that she faced in her life.

Anne is survived by her longtime companion of 20 years, Joseph 'Louie' Segarra, whom she enjoyed travelling with, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph V. Sbarbati, Esq., her sons, George and Vincent Sbarbati, and her siblings, Anselmo 'Sam' (late Alice) Scalzo and AI (late Lily) Scalzo.

Anne's Family and Friends would like to acknowledge the nurses and doctors at Our Lady of Peace Skilled Nursing Facility for the compassion and care shown to Anne during her time there.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, from 11 - 11:30 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 11:30 PM, followed by Anne's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
