Anne D. Strachan, 88, of Niagara Falls passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Schoellkopf Health Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Nicolina (Giacobella) Macri.  Anne was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Hugh J. Strachan on October 17, 1991.

Anne lived all of her life in Niagara Falls and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  For 41 and half years Anne worked for Dr. Pacella and Dr. Yachwan of Niagara Falls as a Dental Assistant.  Her passion was spending time with her family that she loved so much.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Claudia (late Nicholas) Guarnieri; grandchildren, Jenelle (fiancé Michael Haug) Guarnieri and Nicholas Guarnieri; great grandson, Brayden Guarnieri; brother, Dominic (Lorietta) Macri and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Anne was predeceased by a son, Frank Strachan; siblings, Mary (late Joe) Montalbo, Sam (Jane of NF) Macri, Joe (late Carmine) Macri and Carmella (Armand of NF) Giambattista.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 7 ^th from 3 – 6 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will immediately follow visitation hours at 6:00 p.m.  Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
