Anne Marie Trapasso, 55, of Lewiston, NY, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2016. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Mae "Philomena" A. (Gruppo) Trapasso.
Anne attended local parochial schools and graduated from the former Madonna High School. She earned her Nursing Degree from Niagara County Community College and worked locally as a nurse at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital for many years.
As a devout Catholic, Anne's everyday life was driven by her strong faith. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church choir and was in the process of completing her vocation to join the Secular Franciscan order.
Anne had a love for music and enjoyed The Beatles. She also loved and cherished her dog Abe. Above all, Anne will be remembered as a caring generous person who had a warm smile.
Anne is survived by her aunts and uncles, Neil M. (Mary) Gruppo, John (late Constance) Barber and Fran (late Joseph) Trapasso, as well as several loving godchildren and cousins. She also survived by close friends Cathy Pendola, Anna Paniccia, Marie Volpe, and Regina MacNeil.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 13th at 12 NOON in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. ARRANGEMENTS BY M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGAR A FUNERAL CHAPEL.
