Anthony F. DeMiglio, 94, of Youngstown, NY, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026 at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. Born in Fort Edward, NY, he was the son of the late Rocco and Frances (Pingatore) DeMiglio.

As a young boy, Anthony moved with his family to Niagara Falls, NY, where he attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On January 10, 1951, Anthony proudly enlisted in the United States Navy. He served his country with honor aboard the USS Leary (DD‑879) and the USS Bennington (CV‑20) before his honorable discharge in 1954. Upon returning home, he continued his education at Erie Tech, earning an Associate’s degree in drafting and construction management.

On November 24, 1956, Anthony married the love of his life, Antoinette M. (Malvestuto), at St. Joseph’s Church.

A talented and dedicated home builder, Anthony owned and operated his own construction company for many years, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship throughout the community. His work ethic began early, at just 13, he started working at DiCamillo’s Bakery and later at Trusello’s Bakery. The skills he learned there stayed with him for life, and he became well‑known among family and friends for his bread, pizza, and sauce. Anthony also found joy in tending to his vegetable garden.

Above all, Anthony’s family meant everything to him. He was a constant source of support, pride, and love for his children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent together and every memory made.

Mr. DeMiglio is survived by his four daughters, Cheryl Wilczek, Francine Young, Michele (Ernest) Palmer and Kathleen (James) Royer, numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ann (John) Barry and Mary Ann (late Steven) Ventry, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Antoinette, in 2022, and three sisters, Agatha (late Michael) Lucatra, Loretta (late Joseph) Downie and Sarah Gloria DeMiglio.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 19 from 10 – 12 Noon at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 12 Noon, concluding with Military honors. Entombment will be held privately in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Buffalo VA Medical Center or the Wounded Warrior Project.
