Anthony P.  Gonzalez, 90 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.  Born in Steubenville, Ohio he was the son of the late Constantino and Maria (Diaz) Gonzalez.

Tony was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School and served during World War II in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge on June 7, 1946.  He was a lifelong employee of Hooker Chemical Company later Occidental Chemical Corporation where he retired as a foreman and also worked for many years as a carpet installer.

Tony was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #247 and the Spanish Club. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

The Gonzalez family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Erie County Medical Center Burn and Trauma Units for their incredible care.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by three children, Anthony P. (Barbara) Gonzalez, Jill Gonzalez and Gina (Joseph) Corio;  six grandchildren, Tracy Gonzalez, Lee Gonzalez, Aaron Gonzalez, Charles (Susan) Corio, Dr. Maria Corio and Joseph A. Corio, Jr.;  two great grandchildren Ethan and Mallorie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Tony was predeceased by three siblings Julius (late Jenny) Gonzalez, Louis (Carolyn) Gonzalez and Olga (late Louis) Cubello.
