Obituary

Anthony M. LoCurto, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 4, 2026, under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Rotella) LoCurto.

Anthony was a graduate of Bishop Duffy High School. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1958. Following his military service, he continued his education at Niagara University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.

Anthony dedicated 33 years of service to the North Tonawanda Police Department, where he was employed as the Head of Probation and Parole. He was well‑respected for his professionalism, fairness, and commitment to helping others.

In his leisure time, Anthony enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—especially his daily coffee gatherings with friends at McDonald's in Tonawanda. He also cherished time spent golfing with friends, a pastime that brought him joy and camaraderie.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to his aides, Carley, Susan, and Maria, for four years of devoted care, compassion, and love shown to Anthony and his family.

Anthony is survived by his sons, Paul (Wendy) LoCurto and David LoCurto; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services and interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, with Military Honors, will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice at www.niagarahospice.org.  Arrangements by M.J.
