Anthony Maiorana, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Northgate Health Care Facility. Born in Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Pietro and Maria (Sgro) Maiorana.

Anthony was raised and educated in Italy. In 1956, he immigrated to the United States with his wife, Fiorina (Giampa) Maiorana, following their marriage.

Anthony was employed as a Laborer at Tam Ceramics for many years until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wine making and tending to his garden. He especially enjoyed playing cards with his friends and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by two daughters, Maria Maiorana and Lucy (John) Morgus; four grandchildren, Kristen, John, Matthew and Michaela Morgus; one sister, Francesca (late Filippo) Mostaccio, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three siblings, Giuseppina (late Angelo) Parisi, Santo (Maria) Maiorana and Maria (Carmelo) Trifiro.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 16th from 9 - 11 A.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 11:15 A.M., followed by Anthony's Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY.
