Anthony Mascaro, 75 of Lewiston, NY passed away on Saturday March 20, 2010 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Cellara, Calabria, Italy he was the son of the late Francesco and Giulia (Fera) Mascaro.

Tony as he was affectionately known to family and friends immigrated to the United States in 1950. On April 23, 1960, he married Clara M. (Fiore) Mascaro in Niagara Falls, Ontario
For over fifty years, Tony owned and operated Mascaro Concrete Company in Niagara Falls, NY. He was a member of the Cement and Mason Local #111 and member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society in Niagara Falls for over fifty years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing bocce in the Hyde Park Bocce League, gardening, tending to his yard, making sausage and homemade wine. Tony also enjoyed his winter home in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida during the winter months. Above all, Tony will be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his business, his devotion to his family, and adoration of his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of forty nine years, Mr. Mascaro is survived by his three children, Tina Mascaro of Lewiston, NY, Dr. Frank J. (Ellen) Mascaro of Wheatfield, NY and Maria (Randy) Sinatra of Niagara Falls, NY. He was the loving grandfather of, Matthew, Madelyn, Anthony, Anastasia, Ella Grace, Mia, Nicolas and Luca, brother of, Peter (Laura) Mascaro and Aldo (Pauline) Mascaro both of Niagara Falls, NY brother-in-law of Irene (late Joseph) D'Ambrosio of Hamilton, Ontario, Frances (Carmen) Cardamone of Niagara Falls, NY, Sam Fiore of Niagara Falls, Ontario and late Assunta (late Antonio) Madia, dear friend and brother to, Vincent Perri, Marin Crvelin, Anthony Scolaro, Sam Capalbo and Bob Santangelo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at the M.J, COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday March 24th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's RC Church, 620 Center Street Lewiston, NY with Rev. Sebastian Pierro officiating. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined.
