Anthony 'Tony' Mazzarella, 94, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on January 19, 2025 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Facility in Lewiston, NY. Born in Apricena, Province of Foggia, Italy, he was the son of the late Martino and Santa (Tartaglia) Mazzarella.

Tony immigrated to Niagara Falls, Canada in 1949.  On September 11, 1954, he married Flora M. (DeSantis) Mazzarella at Mount Carmel Church in Niagara Falls, NY.  Mrs. Mazzarella predeceased him on March 8, 2007.  Tony was a very prominent local home builder for many years, running Tony Mazzarella Construction Inc. from 1954 until his retirement in 2007. He built homes throughout Niagara Falls, the Town of Niagara, Wheatfield and Lewiston, and took great pride in his work. Aside from being a skilled craftsman, Tony also loved gardening, taking regular trips to West Palm Beach with his wife, and loved to cook, especially making his Italian Wedding soup for his family. Tony was a parishioner of Prince of Peace Church and a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society. Most importantly, he cherished his time spent with family.

Tony is survived by his children, Linda (Robert) Morello and Martin Mazzarella; his grandchildren, Christopher (Kristen) Morello, Amy (Tim) Abramaitys, Daniel (Jennifer) Morello, Anthony Mazzarella, and Nicolette Mazzarella; his great-grandchildren, Dominic, Ava, Adam, Emma, Vincent, Milah, Natalee, Alexander, and Ryan; his sister, Mary (Dominic) D'Addio as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his wife of 52 years, he was predeceased by his siblings, Michael (late Lucia) Mazzarella and Rosaria (late Carmen) Pipino.

Tony's family would especially like to thank the Staff of 2 East at Our Lady of Peace for the compassionate care shown to him and his family during his time there.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. Tony's Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Everyone please assemble at church.  Entombment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to FeedMore of Western NY, https://www.feedmorewny.org/.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
