Obituary

Anthony "Windy" Minadeo, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday February 13, 2009. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Constantino and Josephine (DelGobbo) Minadeo.

Windy attended local schools and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed at the former Titanium Alloy Corporation, which later became National Lead, and at Ruben's Buy & Sell Shop, both in Niagara Falls, NY. He was also a cook at DeFazio's Stadium Grill in downtown Niagara Falls and later at the Hyde Park Avenue location. Windy was a member of the Moose Lodge and a member of the Frederick F. Cadille American Legion Post 1664, both in Niagara Falls, NY.

Survivors include two sisters Mary (late Joseph) Catanese and Jennie (late Frank) Tesoriere both of Niagara Falls, NY; two nieces Josephine Latine, Connie Tesoriere; three nephews Dominic (Caroline) Tesoriere, Sam (Becky) Cotton, Mark Hogan; two great-nephews Sam (Amy) Cotton II, Rob (Julie) Byrum; and one great-niece Nicole Hogan. He was predeceased by one sister, Theresa (late Melvin) Hogan.

Friends may call on Monday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19th STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will begin on Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, & Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. William Allegretto, CM officiating. Interment will military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
