Anthony J. Salfi, 87 formerly of Niagara Fall, NY passed away on Thursday September 1, 2011 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Francisco 'Frank' and Rose (Marshall) Salfi.

Tony was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. He worked at the former International Paper Mill in Niagara Falls, and later in the maintenance department of Moore Business Forms and the Niagara Falls Police Station. In his leisure time, Tony bowled in various local bowling leagues. He also enjoyed cooking, walking along Pine Avenue, visiting with his friends and spending time with his family.

Mr. Salfi is survived by three children, Frank Salfi, Anthony Salfi and Linda Salfi, several grandchildren, one sister Katherine (late Tony) Deni of Laguna Hills, CA, one brother Thomas D. (Marilyn J.) Salfi of Lewiston, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by one daughter Brenda Salfi and one sister Josephine Salfi.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 - 5 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY RD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY at the convenience of the family.
